Job Summary

Join the Data & AI team in Austin to rebuild and speed up go-to-market dashboards and create Omni topics that help non-technical teammates answer their own questions. You’ll write SQL against Snowflake, trace metrics back through dbt models, run end-to-end analyses from question to recommendation, and document everything so others can pick up your work without extra hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities

•Rebuild and speed up dashboards in Omni, starting with the most complained-about reports.
•Build Omni topics so non-technical teammates can ask questions independently, then evaluate where topics fail.
•Write SQL against Snowflake to pull, check, and reconcile numbers; read dbt models to trace metric origins.
•Handle small end-to-end analysis requests: scope, pull data, and return a written recommendation rather than a spreadsheet.
•Document what you build and inventory existing analytics surfaces, including recommendations to keep, consolidate, or retire reports.

Key Requirements

•Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and able to work ~20 hours per week on-site in Austin through early December.
•Write SQL against a real database, including joins and aggregations, and debug queries that return unexpected results.
•Explain what a number means to non-technical teammates and trace it back to its source.
•Check your own work before handing it off, and demonstrate you can take a project beyond what was assigned.
•Document your work so someone else can pick it up without needing to book time with you; verify outputs from AI tools rather than trusting them blindly.
