Job Summary

Lead a planning team to manage and deliver town planning functions for projects, develop schedules for design, procurement, construction and completion, and coordinate with PMs, subcontractors and authorities to ensure adherence to the contract schedule and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and advise on managing and delivering town planning functions and responsibilities for the organization’s projects and programs.
•Develop, implement, and monitor best management practices for the delivery and execution of planning commitments.
•Manage and liaise with the team to create and implement strategies and plans, identifying risks and recommending mitigating actions.
•Produce and manage schedules for design, procurement, construction, and completion, ensuring compliance with planning procedures and contractual requirements.
•Evaluate and analyze project progress using status reports to assess performance and provide accurate forecasts.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering with Professional MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or PMP
•Minimum 8 years of working experience, 5 years in a supervisory role; GCC experience is a plus
•Knowledge of planning and project management, construction law, change management, safety, quality and cost objectives
•Familiarity with planning practices and software such as Primavera P6; ERP knowledge and SAP functionality are a plus
•Strong cost control knowledge and experience with delay analysis and EOT claims
