Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide analytical findings and recommendations related to Planning & Performance Management tasks, including Business Plan development, Quarterly Business Reviews, performance tracking and accountability reporting
  • •Conduct special P&PM studies such as development of performance initiatives, business cases, benchmarking, risk management, KPI design, processes and workflows, and information system changes
  • •Lead benchmarking studies using industry frameworks to assess financial and operational performance and develop implementation-ready initiatives with operational teams
  • •Develop and maintain close partnerships with business/operational counterparts in the P&PM organization and represent the organization in cross-functional teams
  • •Analyze financial variances and costing structures to identify root causes, trends, and inefficiencies; translate findings into actionable insights, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue-generation strategies

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; possession of an advanced business degree (e.g. MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred
  • •A Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning, performance management, or financial analysis, with 5+ years in Refining, Chemicals, NGLs, Midstream, or Power; cross-functional experience across these domains is preferred
  • •Demonstrate expertise in financial accounting, management accounting, strategic planning, and governance & compliance, with proven ability to align complex financial frameworks to operational and strategic objectives
  • •Demonstrate a strong capability in using business intelligence tools and advanced data modeling to extract insights from complex datasets
  • •Proven track record of delivering performance improvement initiatives in high-complexity, asset-intensive industries, with ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
