Job Summary

Build process mining and optimization capabilities for the Agentforce platform as a technical leader across backend and full-stack systems. Own end-to-end architecture for secure, highly scalable services on Kubernetes and cloud multi-AZ environments, guide long-term technical vision, and steward API contracts for process intelligence across Salesforce clouds and external customers. Partner with data, security, and product teams to define SLIs/SLOs, testing strategy, and incident response while raising the technical bar across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of secure, highly scalable backend services on Kubernetes and multi-AZ cloud environments for one or more teams.
•Set long-term (12–18 month) technical vision for backend/full-stack capabilities, including evolution toward pooled multi-tenant models with tenant isolation.
•Own architecture for Python-based data processing and ETL pipelines feeding large-scale ingestion and transformation.
•Lead API strategy for the headless/API-first architecture, including versioning, deprecation, and long-term contract stewardship for internal/public APIs.
•Define SLIs/SLOs, testing strategy, and service ownership including on-call rotations, readiness reviews, runbooks, and automation, and lead incident response for major events.

•Strong proficiency in Java and Python with production-level fluency in real systems.
•Expertise in Java backend frameworks including Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Tomcat, plus relational database integration (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
•Architectural expertise in relational databases, data modeling, schema migration tools (Liquibase, Alembic), and query optimization.
•Experience designing and evolving highly available distributed systems on AWS (or comparable) and leading containerized orchestration in production (Kubernetes, Docker).
