Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose and manage oral and maxillofacial conditions including facial trauma, infections, tumors, and congenital anomalies.
  • •Perform surgical procedures such as extractions (including impacted teeth), dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and minor/maxillofacial reconstructive procedures.
  • •Provide pre-operative assessment, informed consent, and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • •Manage maxillofacial emergencies and participate in on-call coverage as required.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Dentistry (DDS/DMD or equivalent) with a recognized specialty qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • •Minimum 2–3 years of post-specialty experience in a hospital or specialty clinic setting.
  • •Valid DOH license (or eligibility) to practice as a Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • •Proven surgical expertise across dentoalveolar, trauma, and maxillofacial procedures.
  • •Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
