Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain shift operating logs and records.
  • •Operate and monitor plant equipment and systems.
  • •Perform regular equipment rounds, take instrument readings, and report abnormal conditions to the appropriate manager.
  • •Complete mechanical maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting as assigned.
  • •Use a computerized maintenance management system to document deficiencies, schedule work, and order materials.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent required, with trade school, military service, or technical school training.
  • •Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • •Ability to work constructively under minimum supervision.
  • •Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, and accept on-call and overtime call-outs.
  • •Basic user PC skills and general knowledge of safety and environmental regulation; ability to operate a forklift and man-lifts as needed.
