Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the commissioning team and Principal Commissioning Engineer with preparation of home office deliverables.
  • •Participate in site walk-down inspections, punch listing, and testing, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument component issues.
  • •Support development of manuals, commissioning and start-up procedures, start-up spares, first fills, consumables, and discipline equipment checks and tests.
  • •Perform and participate in commissioning, start-up, and performance testing; resolve operational and maintenance issues during these activities.
  • •Supervise support craft personnel for site pre-commissioning/commissioning and coordinate with other engineers and the client.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • •3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas process facility.
  • •2+ years of previous commissioning and start-up experience in the chemical, refinery, or oil & gas industry.
  • •Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; able to communicate technical concepts to engineers and non-engineers.
