Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic (power, ignition, ground) to complex (custom wiring harnesses when accessing CAN network).
  • •Test installs, identify and resolve problems, gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions when needed.
  • •Travel to client sites or various EquipmentShare rental yards within the region and occasionally work outside business hours and on weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools with strong attention to detail.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer); prior telematics experience not required (training provided).
  • •Own tools (some specialty tools provided).
  • •Open to traveling within a 250 mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time, and able to pass a background check and 10 panel drug screen.
