Job Summary

Support Nuclear Procurement Engineering (NPE) by contributing to the development of NPE processes, policies, and procedures. Help build component Bills of Materials and maintain Nuclear Specification (NSE) data, including material masters in SAP, to enable efficient inventory queries. Perform NPE evaluations for materials and services to determine safety class, technical/quality, and storage requirements, and support walkdowns and configuration management using as-built information. Resolve technical discrepancies from material receipt inspection and support OSDD and NCR disposition.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the development of component Bills of Materials to ensure procurement readiness.
•Develop and maintain NSE data, including material masters in SAP, and support identification/cataloguing of critical spares.
•Perform NPE evaluations for materials and services to determine safety class, technical/quality requirements, and storage requirements for generic specifications.
•Conduct walkdowns to obtain as-built information and support configuration management between paper plant and physical plant.
•Apply resolutions of technical discrepancies from material receipt inspection and support OSDD defect report resolution and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) disposition.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (or Equivalent) Degree in Engineering or related Science.
•2 years’ experience.
•Preferred: 3 years of operating commercial Nuclear Plant experience.
•Member of the Charter Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) or other procurement qualifications.
•Ability to support NPE activities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control disciplines.
