Job Summary

Senior Consultant Relations professional responsible for supporting business development and investor relations for Jefferies Asset Management. Will lead presentations to prospective institutional investors, manage client onboarding and RFP/DDQ responses, coordinate with distribution teams, and drive fundraising and marketing initiatives from key US markets with potential remote work outside New York.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead presentations to prospective investors independently and with senior distribution team members.
•Support all aspects of the sales process, including product and market research, organizing target client lists, and sales process management.
•Manage closing, new client onboarding, and compliance review processes with legal, compliance and accounting teams.
•Respond to client requests, coordinate periodic portfolio review meetings, and assist with due diligence responses (RFPs, DDQs).
•Maintain knowledge of client portfolios to facilitate responses to consultant questions and contribute to portfolio review and marketing materials.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree and/or CFA preferred; Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses preferred.
•7+ years of relevant experience with outward-facing relationship-building and capital raising from institutional investors; 10-15 years of overall industry experience.
•Experience raising capital from institutional investors across multiple alternative investment strategies.
•Experience working with investment consultants, field consultants, research and senior management; DDQ/RFP questionnaire response experience.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to sophisticated institutional investors and internal colleagues.
