Job Summary

Develop into a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use consultative selling and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive growth via appointment setting and cross-selling. Partner with business teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) and help process teller transactions while supporting risk management, confidentiality, and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
•Drive cross-selling and outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls, as directed.
•Support referrals to business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and help process teller transactions and financial-center activities.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Ability to build comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to complete S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
