Job Summary

Lead and scale Braze’s community, advocacy, and customer storytelling programs. Own Braze Bonfire, Customer Advisory Boards, and the Champion/advocate ecosystem; partner with Product Marketing, Content Marketing, CX, Demand Gen, and Events to drive retention, expansion, and informed product strategy. Build a high-ownership team of five, measure impact with a clear KPI framework, and align the function with cross-functional GTM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the community function and wire it into Braze operations, including forums, regional meetups, and recognition programs; ensure community signals feed account health and CS workflows.
•Own the advocacy function by managing Braze Customer Champions end-to-end to generate references, speakers, storytellers, and product co-creators with measurable influence.
•Oversee Customer Advisory Boards, aligning high-stakes CABs with flagship Braze moments and translating customer insight into roadmap and narrative.
•Direct customer storytelling across video, written formats, and case studies to feed campaigns, product marketing, and analyst communications.
•Connect community, advocacy, and learning to create a unified customer empowerment ecosystem and design journeys and measurement frameworks accordingly.

•Built or significantly scaled a customer community of meaningful size, optimizing for customer experience while leveraging community as a growth channel.
•Comfortable with pipeline discussions and able to defend the function’s investment with credible metrics.
•Experience partnering cross-functionally with PMM, Content, CX, Product, Demand Gen, and Events at senior levels.
•You are a builder who develops people, experiments with new operating models, and drives integration across functions.
