Director, Engineering

Lead engineering teams across Smithfield plants to optimize production performance and drive operational excellence. Develop short- and long-term operational plans tied to customer and quality standards, analyze asset utilization to improve replacement timing, and manage capital and maintenance budgets. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on safety, compliance, and best practices while building and developing a high-performing engineering workforce. Travel to other locations is required (50% of the time).
