Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive overall technical direction for the ad-serving platform and partner with engineering teams to meet SLAs, SLOs, and uptime requirements
  • •Architect concurrent, low-latency distributed systems and monitor/diagnose/mitigate tail latencies across core execution paths
  • •Profile and tune networking and system layers for I/O-bound and CPU-bound workloads, including automated performance benchmarking within the CI/CD pipeline
  • •Design a modular platform that enables other teams to build on top and supports external components such as model-serving runtimes, budget/pacing, and programmatic demand engines
  • •Ensure operational excellence and resiliency through straightforward-to-operate distributed design and graceful degradation during traffic spikes or live events

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years building distributed systems, core backend infrastructure, or high-throughput platforms
