Job Summary

Assist with underwriting operations and administration for MidCorp, supporting underwriters and service teams to meet delivery timelines. Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders, coordinate with offshore/onshore teams, and ensure accurate policy administration, reporting, and premium-related tasks while contributing to knowledge transfer and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide support to Underwriters in underwriting operations, procedures, and policies.
•Complete associated business processes such as MCP updating, SharePoint eFiling, ABS updates, Sanctions Checks and others.
•Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports.
•Build strong relationships with and provide prompt customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
•Liaise with Policy Management Team and offshore team for pre-renewal reports, sanctions checks and other activities; monitor work on hand and prioritize tasks.

Key Requirements

•Minimum Diploma holder. Prior experience working in an insurance/reinsurance company preferred.
•Experience in underwriting support functions, data entry and policy administration.
•Knowledge of commercial lines of business preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; effective communication skills and good customer service.
•Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; proactive with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
