Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate a single-blade saw by reading production scheduling sheets and selecting required materials.
  • •Ensure materials meet quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and check materials/finished products for compliance.
  • •Feed material according to specifications, periodically check equipment for specification adherence, and perform pre-shift-startup inspection checklists and reporting.
  • •Offload and stack material in accordance with procedures; may cover, label, and band components finished product.
  • •Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area; perform LOTO as required; support preventive maintenance and participate in safety/CI programs.

Key Requirements

  • •18 years of age or older.
  • •High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
  • •Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; some manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
  • •Ability to follow established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
