Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain consumer mobile features across iOS and Android using React Native, including CGM visualization, AI food logging, metabolic insights, and AI health assistant experiences.
•Own React Native codebase areas end to end, from architecture and design through implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
•Write clean, well-tested, high-performance React Native code that works reliably across iOS/Android devices and OS versions.
•Identify and resolve React Native layer performance issues (JavaScript thread bottlenecks, render optimization, memory management).
•Work with native modules and platform bridges, participate in migration toward native iOS/Android where appropriate, and conduct code reviews.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80 - 85 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years using React Native as a primary technology in a production consumer app.
•Strong React Native expertise (component architecture, state management, navigation) plus React Native new architecture (JSI, Fabric, Turbo Modules).
•Working knowledge of iOS and/or Android fundamentals to understand React Native’s interaction with the native layer and native module usage.
•Experience with native modules and mobile app architecture patterns, including state management (Redux, Zustand, or equivalent), navigation libraries, and offline-first design.
