Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the nuclear safety case team, deputising for the Nuclear Safety Case Discipline Lead as required.
  • •Support management across the nuclear portfolio and develop strategy to grow the safety case capability.
  • •Win work by supporting bidding processes for nuclear safety and ensure strategic safety case delivery on projects.
  • •Develop client relationships to deliver right-first-time technical delivery and advise on regulatory compliance.
  • •Provide mentoring and coaching, deliver nuclear safety training, and share knowledge across the organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience developing nuclear safety cases in the nuclear sector.
  • •Strong leadership with ability to influence engineers and define/implement engineering work packages.
  • •Proven track record delivering projects end-to-end across the full lifecycle.
  • •Excellent communication skills with ability to present technically and conduct peer reviews.
  • •MEng/BEng in Science or Engineering (or Chartered Engineer, or working towards)
