Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive the team’s vision and multi-quarter roadmap tied to business-impacting outcomes while balancing tech-debt reduction and reliability work
  • •Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers, owning hiring, performance, and career growth while fostering ownership and technical excellence
  • •Own reliability and safety for AWS account provisioning and bootstrapping, core networking (VPCs/interconnectivity), and human IAM access
  • •Drive the team’s automation charter and deliver IaC/IaC rails frameworks so other teams can provision, update, and tear down safely (GitHub, Spacelift)
  • •Establish and maintain operational standards including SLAs for IAM requests, quota alerting thresholds, incident response for networking changes, and automated validation

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience, including 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • •Proven experience leading engineering teams in infrastructure, platform engineering, or adjacent domains
  • •Strong technical background in cloud-native/infrastructure systems (AWS preferred) across accounts, VPC networking, and IAM
  • •Experience leading Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps-style workflows (Terraform, Spacelift or equivalent)
  • •Strong programming background (Python, Go, or Kotlin preferred) and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
