Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, coach, and develop machinists, operators, planners, programmers, and support staff while fostering a safety-first culture.
  • •Manage machine shop operations across 3 shifts (24 hours/day), including staffing, workflow, priorities, and resource allocation.
  • •Develop and execute production schedules, assign personnel, monitor progress, revise schedules, resolve production issues, and report results.
  • •Drive on-time delivery, productivity, OEE improvement, reduced cost of poor quality, and effective inventory management.
  • •Partner with EH&S to maintain safety compliance and implement quality control, ISO-aligned standard work, inspections, and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of manufacturing experience with hands-on machining processes, production operations, equipment, and shop capabilities.
  • •3+ years of experience leading, coaching, or supervising teams in a production, manufacturing, or machine shop environment.
  • •Working knowledge of machining operations, tooling, production planning, workflow optimization, maintenance coordination, and resource planning.
  • •Strong communication, collaboration, planning, and conflict-resolution skills to work effectively across functions.
  • •Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
