Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Canada business in identifying and managing inherent risks in business activities, products, and processes.
  • •Promote a culture of risk awareness and clear risk ownership with the Principal Officer and Canada Senior Leadership Team.
  • •Oversee the control testing team and ensure governance processes align with the COSO framework and continuous improvement.
  • •Oversee the risk event management process to ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of control deficiencies.
  • •Review and recommend updates to compliance and risk policies, processes, procedures, controls, and metrics; partner to monitor regulatory changes and support audits/regulatory exams.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 10 years of experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Compliance, or Process Management.
  • •Experience managing people and leading a team.
  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •At least 7 years of Financial Services third-party risk management experience.
  • •Strong risk frameworks knowledge and excellent written/verbal communication for executive and cross-functional interactions.
