Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer in the Video Devices team responsible for DFM/DFA reviews, risk assessment, and optimization of electronic device assembly. Leads production readiness from EVT/DVT/PVT to first series launches, collaborates with contract manufacturers in China and Vietnam, and develops SOPs to improve manufacturing efficiency across hardware products.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct DFM/DFA reviews for new products focusing on manufacturing and assembly
•Evaluate designs for manufacturing risks, testability, and serial production stability
•Identify potential manufacturing risks before product transfer to NPI and provide recommendations to improve design for production efficiency
•Develop, implement, and optimize device assembly processes to enable scalable manufacturing
•Participate in EVT/DVT/PVT cycles and engineering validation of prototypes; support prototypes, EVT assemblies and pilot productions

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Production Engineering or related roles
•Commercial experience launching and supporting serial production of electronic devices
•Excellent understanding of electronics assembly and mechanical components manufacturing
•Deep knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
•Experience working with PCB, mechanical/plastic components, electronics and cable assemblies; EVT/DVT/PVT cycles; interaction with contract manufacturers; English at least level B2
