Join a defense-focused materials team working on Low Observable (LO) technologies. You will develop and characterize LO materials and processes, predict performance with EM tools, and integrate signature control techniques across product lines, while mentoring early career engineers on integrated product teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and characterize materials and processes for LO applications; integrate at system level across Raytheon product lines
•Perform material performance predictions and measurement tests for developmental and production systems
•Measure constitutive and RF attenuation properties and generate predicted material performance using Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM) tools
•Collaborate in integrated product teams to apply advanced signature control techniques and assess system performance
•Mentor early career engineers and serve as Materials Lead on IPTs

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 107,500 - 204,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience
•Experience in Low Observables or Radar materials
•Experience in material characterization, performance testing/prediction, design, material down-select and/or integration onto air vehicles
•Experience with customer and supplier collaboration
•Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (preferred) and related specialized expertise (preferred)
