Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws and company safety regulations.
  • •Transport loads safely and efficiently over required routes, obeying traffic laws.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas following loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment, including unloading empty skids and returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain and deliver shipping paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and facilitate routine truck service (e.g., checking fluids) while reporting maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Commercial Drivers License (Class A CDL) or the appropriate chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight and state requirements.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations, and complete a DOT physical (trucks over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
  • •Lift and move up to 40 pounds, and be able to sit for prolonged periods while driving.
  • •Provide professional, courteous customer service and remain focused in a busy environment.
