Job Summary

Provide first-line SOC operations support by monitoring client infrastructure and identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and service requests. Proactively prevent problems, determine root causes for assigned incidents, and ensure timely incident escalation and resolution to meet zero missed service level agreement conditions. Deliver telephonic or chat support when needed, maintain and update knowledge articles, and contribute to automation, process improvement, and disaster recovery testing as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to ensure operational continuity and proactive identification of problems and errors.
•Investigate first-line incidents, identify root causes, and ensure efficient incident and request resolution.
•Schedule maintenance windows for patching and configuration changes and follow handover procedures for shift changes.
•Provide telephonic or chat support when required, report and escalate incidents as necessary, and update/create knowledge articles.
•Identify opportunities for incident reduction and automation, and contribute to disaster recovery functions and testing as required.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data center, systems, storage administration, and monitoring services in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products in the supported technical domains (e.g., Security, Network, Data Centre, Telephony).
•Basic knowledge of ITIL processes.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or equivalent qualification (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
•Relevant certifications in the services provided (examples include CCNA, Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Veeam, VMware, and cloud platform credentials).
