Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and manage day-to-day service operations for installations, delivery, and deployment of technical resources within the area of responsibility.
  • •Perform low-voltage cabling and fiber optic structured cable distribution work, including measuring, pulling wires, upgrading infrastructure, and patching cabling between network equipment and customer networks.
  • •Diagnose and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure and network performance issues, perform repairs, and escalate issues as appropriate while ensuring root-cause and follow-up.
  • •Install, configure, test, and support network assets (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, phones, and other network tools) and complete complex move/add/change (MAC) requests.
  • •Provide hardware break-fix and onsite testing support, maintain documentation and billing/time reporting, and respond to emergency situations during or after hours to meet SLAs.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder.
  • •Must have a working smartphone to access company email and ticketing system.
  • •Must have basic cabling/technician tools and know how to use a laptop/email and Office 365 applications (Word, Excel).
  • •Must be proficient using cable testers and fiber testers, and have experience working in communications closets.
  • •Requires 5 years of experience in data communications and familiarity with Cisco phones, switches, routers, and local/wide area networking; high school diploma (or equivalent) required.
