Job Summary

Shape and execute Vivint’s public relations and external communications strategy, combining traditional and emerging PR with hands-on planning of brand events and activations. Lead press and analyst events, executive briefings, trade shows, sponsorships, media placements, awards submissions, thought leadership, reputation management, and crisis communications support. Monitor media and online/AI-driven search visibility and help improve PR workflows, measurement, and consistent company voice across channels.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute internal and external experiential PR and brand events and activations, including press/analyst events, executive briefings, trade shows, sponsorships, and launches.
•Help shape Vivint’s PR and external communications strategy, including earned media placements, awards submissions, and thought leadership content.
•Monitor Vivint’s presence in media and online/AI-generated search results and report findings to support visibility improvements.
•Support PR workflows and standards for consistent PR planning, measurement, and response across Vivint and NRG.
•Write and edit PR content (press releases, pitches, bylines, award nominations, briefing materials) and coordinate with brand/product to maintain consistent company voice.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, and/or journalism.
•2-4 years of professional PR experience, including reactive and proactive media interactions and event management.
•Experience planning and executing internal/external events, activations, meetings, or trade shows, including vendor coordination, logistics, timelines, and on-site execution.
•Experience supporting corporate, executive, and B2B media relations.
•Familiarity with crisis communications processes and how AI and other tools are changing brand-audience interactions.
