Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage oversight of UK STDF actuals and stress testing outputs, ensuring end-to-end process integrity and ownership with smooth handover to the Group.
  • •Own risk and control management, including design and uplift of controls (EUCs, calculators, and models), prepare RCAs, maintain RRIS inventory, and drive issue remediation/closure in Helios.
  • •Run UK governance and stakeholder management, representing HBUK at Integrity in Regulatory Reporting Stress Testing Steerco with updates, queries, and risk escalations.
  • •Ensure 2027 BCST readiness with documentation, process maps, runbooks, and controls evidence; manage delivery across cycles with audit-ready artefacts and L0–L2 plans/timelines.
  • •Coordinate approvals for sign-off of STDF actuals and support timely review, challenge, and submission of HBUK returns while streamlining and automating activities.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of UK STDF and stress testing frameworks and the components of bank stress testing.
  • •Experience designing and applying control frameworks, including controls effectiveness testing.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with clear written and verbal communication in English.
  • •Experience owning risk and control management, including RCA preparation and maintaining regulatory reporting inventory (RRIS).
  • •Ability to support continuous process improvement, including using automation to enhance efficiency and the controls environment.
