Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, negotiation, execution, and management of a portfolio of grants and contracts aligned with health financing, pharmaceutical systems, and health systems strengthening strategy.
  • •Provide strategic oversight of active grants and contracts, ensuring milestone achievement and driving risk management, learning, and measurable impact.
  • •Maintain government engagement to advance joint priorities, supporting national and sub-national implementation and evidence-based policy dialogue.
  • •Represent the Foundation in technical working groups and governance bodies, and participate in national, regional, and global meetings related to health financing and supply chain management.
  • •Provide technical leadership by translating complex health financing and supply chain issues into clear recommendations for government and donor decision-makers.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree or equivalent experience in medicine, public health, health economics, health financing, health policy, pharmacy, or supply chain management.
  • •Experience leading health systems strengthening initiatives in a public or private global health organization.
  • •Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing health care financing initiatives, including strategic purchasing and provider payment reforms.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading pharmaceutical systems and health supply chain management initiatives, including procurement, forecasting, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • •Extensive experience working with Ministries of Health and government institutions on policies, strategies, and health system reforms; Ethiopia experience preferred.
