Key Responsibilities

•Drive and lead legal aspects of group, regional projects/initiatives in the Asia Pacific region; align with Group’s/AZAP’s strategic direction.
•Drive and steer legal workstreams for M&A, restructurings and joint venture transactions; manage timelines and external counsel as applicable.
•Provide legal and regulatory advice for complex transactions across the Asia Pacific region, including regional partnerships and cross-border matters.
•Provide business-oriented legal advice and solutions for all types of contracts entered by AZAP and other Allianz entities in Singapore.
•Negotiate and draft a range of commercial agreements, from NDAs to complex cross-border documents, coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer with Law degree (LLB) or equivalent with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a major law firm
•Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating legal agreements, including transactional agreements and IT agreements
•Fluent verbal and written English
•Experience/knowledge in applicable laws such as Europe’s AI Act, DORA, GDPR, etc.
•Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deals/timelines
