Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on production machinery to ensure continuous, high-quality film production while maintaining safety standards.
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and correct mechanical, electrical, and process problems to keep production equipment operating properly.
  • •Provide 24/7 technical support for production and regularly inspect production lines and support equipment, scheduling preventive maintenance routines.
  • •Use the JDE system to purchase and stock parts; assemble, disassemble, and convert/upgrade production lines and support equipment for repairs, upgrades, or installations.
  • •Identify and work with contractors for equipment repair, installation, removal, and upgrades; weld metal parts as needed and maintain building and grounds.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • •Two to four years of experience in industrial electrical repair involving drives, instrumentation, and process controls on high-speed production equipment.
  • •Basic mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
  • •Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics and follow written/verbal instructions with little or no supervision.
  • •Journeyman certification preferred.
