Job Summary

Join ALSO as a Field Reliability Engineer focused on tracking and improving reliability of multiple electric mobility vehicles in the field. You will analyze field performance, develop? reliability tests, and collaborate with service and engineering teams to implement corrective actions and MRB processes, delivering data-driven improvements to reduce field failures and optimize customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor field performance and identify trends in failure across various vehicle platforms using life data analysis (Weibull) to track reliability growth from implemented changes
•Validate customer usage against rider profiles/duty cycles to identify gaps in reliability test plans and develop novel damage metrics
•Collaborate with Service to develop a common service platform/database for channel partners to query customer complaints and part replacements, defining what information is documented
•Develop material review board (MRB) process for disposition (rework/reman, scrap, return for analysis) and perform failure analysis to identify corrective actions
•Define ongoing reliability testing (ORT) plan

Key Requirements

•Minimum Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent; two or more years of industry experience in a reliability engineering role
•Technical knowledge of reliability-related areas including PCBA/electronic components, battery and power electronics, drive units, and chassis systems
•Understanding of reliability statistics, life data analysis, reliability growth
•Experience with structured problem solving methods (FRACA or 8D) and root-cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Fault Tree, FMEA)
•Working knowledge of a coding language, preferably Python; familiarity with statistical software (JMP, ReliaSoft, MATLAB) and failure analysis techniques (SEM, CT, X-Ray, EDS, TDR)
