Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute CAD and BIM design tasks as directed by the engineer, producing high-quality 2D and 3D design drawings.
  • •Coordinate structural and MEP design items with other disciplines and coordinate/design items with architects.
  • •Set slab edges, define cladding zones, and design façade elements including waterproofing, thermal insulation, and related tolerances.
  • •Generate sections, schedules, and schematics from general arrangement drawings; issue, file, and convert drawings into formats such as DWF and PDF.
  • •Provide regular work status updates (risks/concerns) to the line manager and ensure Health & Safety, QMS compliance, and accurate timesheets.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant façade engineering experience using AutoCAD, including 2D/3D façade design and drawing.
  • •Contractor background required to produce shop drawings-level detailing.
  • •Proven ability to develop plans, sections, and details from engineers’ basic sketches into full working drawings.
  • •Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, including core functions (e.g., X-Refs, Lisp, Blocks, Layers, Model/Paper Space, Viewports) and ability to load WSP standard menus/settings.
  • •Diploma in Architecture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, with experience using façade-specific software and familiarity with international façade contractors.
