Job Summary

Lead engineering for chemical and gas systems that support Intel’s semiconductor manufacturing facilities, focusing on safety, reliability, quality, and cost. •Provide engineering leadership for chemical and gas systems to meet safety, reliability, quality, and cost objectives.
•Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of vacuum pumps, abatement, and related support systems; contribute to planning, design, and construction of Subfab support equipment.
•Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards for Subfab systems.
•Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve vacuum/abatement system performance issues.
•Create scopes of work and bid proposals, review documentation for project alignment, and oversee acceptance post-commissioning equipment to operational specifications.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 2+ years with a Master's degree.
•Knowledge of regulatory/safety compliance standards for handling hazardous process gases, effluent treatment, and emissions control in semiconductor manufacturing.
•3+ years of experience in vacuum system performance analysis and process control monitoring, abatement system integration/optimization, or project management of equipment installation/qualification/upgrades.
•Experience applying statistical process control (SPC) to equipment health monitoring and predictive maintenance programs.
•Preferred: familiarity with SEMI standards and chemical compatibility assessment for corrosive or pyrophoric process chemistries.
