Job Summary

Support the internal audit manager in developing and executing the annual internal audit plan for Republic Cement. Determine audit scope and timing, perform walkthroughs and process/control testing, and validate operating effectiveness. Deliver audit documentation, formal reports, and discuss results with auditees and management. Also provide 2nd line internal controls (SOX key controls) support and perform special audit procedures such as data analysis, document reviews, and site visits.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the internal audit manager in developing and executing the annual internal audit plan.
•Determine audit scope, timing, and extent, and perform audit procedures including walkthroughs and process documentation.
•Assess process controls design and test operating effectiveness to confirm controls are in place and working.
•Prepare formal audit reports and discuss results with auditees and management.
•Provide 2nd line internal controls (SOX key controls) support and perform special audit procedures such as data analysis, document reviews, or site visits.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Audit, or other Business and Finance related courses.
•3 to 5 years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, accounting, finance, and operations.
•Experience performing SOX internal controls testing, monitoring, and/or risk & control advisory.
•Experience in risk-control analysis, audit planning & execution, and audit documentation & reporting.
•Preferably knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP standards.
