Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating carriers, freight forwarders, warehouse, and internal stakeholders to support production priorities.
  • •Prepare, validate, and control shipping and customs documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • •Track shipments end-to-end, proactively identify delays, and execute mitigation actions such as re-routing, expediting, or using alternative carriers.
  • •Coordinate deliveries with warehouse receiving capacity, material staging, and production sequencing to minimize disruption and cost impact.
  • •Monitor logistics KPIs and support continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, while ensuring accurate ERP/WMS transactions and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in logistics roles within manufacturing or industrial operations with international shipment exposure.
  • •Experience coordinating freight forwarders, carriers, and customs processes in regulated or defense environments.
  • •Working knowledge of Incoterms and export/import compliance fundamentals, with controlled items/DG awareness a plus.
  • •Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under time pressure across warehouse and production interfaces.
  • •ERP/WMS exposure and disciplined accuracy in shipment documentation.
