Key Responsibilities

  • •Support development and formal qualification/certification testing for automotive EMC in accordance with CISPR 25, ISO 11452, and related specifications.
  • •Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC and radio requirements, and generate test plans and test reports against applicable standards.
  • •Maintain and operate EMC test facilities, including EMC chambers and conducted EMC assets, plus develop and maintain calibration of lab equipment.
  • •Perform and teach electromagnetic compatibility design and analysis, including troubleshooting EMI issues from board to system level.
  • •Operate and automate EMI, RF, and electronics test equipment; independently verify results and document them clearly and precisely.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of hardware-focused test engineering experience (internships and project experience are applicable).
  • •Ability to support EMC test and qualification/certification testing for automotive EMC using relevant standards.
  • •Experience maintaining and calibrating EMC lab equipment supporting testing.
  • •Programming in Python (or equivalent) and ability to troubleshoot EMI/EMC issues from board to system level.
