Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow all SHE requirements and work instructions; use and maintain PPE correctly and report hazards immediately.
  • •Apply HIRA/Mini-HIRA/SLAM, attend safety meetings, and actively participate in SLAMs/HPHs and close-out of safety actions.
  • •Perform daily maintenance on plant equipment, civil structures, and work areas; maintain stormwater channels, roads, and gardens.
  • •Use and maintain hand and power tools, prepare work areas with required tools/spares/equipment, and test equipment and vehicles before returning to service.
  • •Conduct pre-shift inspections, monitor equipment performance and report defects, communicate outstanding work during handover, and support civil maintenance activities as instructed.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 Certificate / N3 Technical.
  • •Valid Drivers License.
  • •Understand safety standards applicable to maintenance environments and follow SHE work instructions.
  • •Knowledge of vehicle/equipment components and functionality, including manufacturer standards.
  • •Ability to interpret detailed component drawings, blueprints, and shop manuals.
