Job Summary

Set up, operate, and maintain conventional and CNC machines (including milling, lathe, and grinding) within a production cell. Use measuring equipment, gauges, and fixtures to perform accurate inspection checks, read and interpret blueprints, and do basic troubleshooting. Keep shop records and follow technical instructions and drawings, maintain clean work areas, and promptly notify the supervisor of any machine or tooling issues affecting quality or safe work conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up, operate, and maintain conventional or CNC machines (milling, lathe, surface grinding, shaping, hobbing, broaching).
•Set up and operate measuring equipment, gauges, and fixtures to perform inspection checks.
•Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
•Read and interpret blueprints and work in accordance with technical instructions and drawings.
•Maintain shop-paper and records, keep work areas and machinery tidy, and notify the supervisor of any machine/tooling problems affecting quality or safety.

Key Requirements

•NITEC/Higher NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
•At least 2 years of working experience in a Precision Engineering environment.
•Basic command of written and spoken English.
•Able to work weekly rotating shifts.
