Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and implement a sustainable broker engagement strategy across the region, reporting into the Regional Director.
  • •Develop and broaden broker relationships by identifying, onboarding, and managing new and existing broker relationships to HSBC.
  • •Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issuance of indicative terms and seamless onboarding for clients introduced by brokers.
  • •Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • •Provide training and support to brokers on HSBC products, credit appetite, and capabilities, and work with marketing on targeted broker engagement campaigns.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Proven business development experience, particularly in the financial services sector.
  • •Experience working with and regularly interacting with CMB clients and KBIs and holding strategic client conversations with complex requirements.
  • •Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets aligned to HSBC’s appetite and competitive advantage.
  • •Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Analytical mindset to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations, with strong time management to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
