Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as CRE / Lead Engineer, taking full accountability for technical delivery, design approval and independent review.
  • •Lead the delivery of complex traction power and substation design packages across all project stages.
  • •Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and efficient delivery, oversee and review work by engineers and designers, and mentor the team.
  • •Develop and approve concept and detailed design documentation including calculations, reports and specifications, and ensure compliance with standards.
  • •Provide site visits and construction-stage design support, inform bids, and contribute to technical input into proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in traction power and high voltage substation design.
  • •Demonstrable experience acting as CRE / Lead Engineer.
  • •Experience delivering complex projects across feasibility, outline and detailed design stages.
  • •Experience leading multidisciplinary coordination and overseeing design teams.
  • •Chartered status, working towards chartership, or demonstrable experience operating at Principal level.
