Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise production line/department personnel to ensure procedures are followed and compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
  • •Manage scheduling, staffing deployment/rotation, and daily reporting (attendance/staffing, yields, and departmental reports).
  • •Identify and communicate process optimization opportunities and lead planning and implementation of process improvements while monitoring metrics.
  • •Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe, sanitary environment meeting all specifications and USDA requirements.
  • •Mentor, coach, train/cross-train employees; administer performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions; enforce safety initiatives and PPE use.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree with relevant coursework preferred.
  • •Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting; 3 years in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
  • •1 year of leadership experience (timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution); 3 years preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMP, and HACCP.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written); ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred.
