Key Responsibilities

  • •Facilitate diligence and underwriting documentation for complex credit relationships, supporting credit presentation preparation and coordinating legal documentation through closing and funding.
  • •Ensure loan agreements comply with approval documents; identify documentation issues and address them in consultation with the Relationship Manager.
  • •Analyze financial statements/projections and document client performance, including risks and risk mitigants for complex credits.
  • •Maintain credit process metrics within prescribed tolerances and manage risk evaluation and associated compliance requirements for assigned portfolio and prospects.
  • •Serve as a client and internal point of contact for an assigned portfolio, including potential site/client-management visits, and support/mentor junior associates and analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent education/work combination).
  • •2–4+ years of experience in Commercial, Corporate, Leveraged, and/or Investment Banking or a related credit-focused environment supporting underwriting and transaction execution.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills to document credit analyses, risks, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
  • •Proficient use of Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools to prepare, analyze, and present credit materials.
  • •Working knowledge of asset-reliant and cash flow / enterprise value–reliant credit structures, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
