Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the site, surveys, plans, drawings, and other matrices for field inspection activities.
  • •Under minimal supervision, perform basic inspections of site conditions, equipment, construction, materials, and configurations to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and codes.
  • •Perform testing of soil density, concrete air/slump/yield, moisture content, and other required construction tests.
  • •Provide routine technical assistance to ensure proper inspection, construction, and functioning of highways, roads, bridges, structures, and infrastructure according to design specifications.
  • •Assist with verifying change orders, interpretation of contract plans and specifications, and escalate any differences or problems.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •Minimum of 7 years of relevant post-education experience in construction inspection.
  • •Valid state driver’s license.
  • •Highly familiar with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, codes, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Ability to learn and follow safety guidelines and work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with a team.
