Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mine closure programs from investigation through feasibility, detailed design, remediation, and closure while ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and financial performance.
  • •Develop and implement integrated mine closure strategies that meet regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across hydrogeology, geotechnical, environmental science, and remediation engineering to deliver constructible solutions.
  • •Serve as senior client-facing leader, managing communications with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to align on objectives.
  • •Oversee risk identification and mitigation and manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting/EAC, and change management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences, Civil, Environmental, Mining, or a related field with 10 years of relevant mine closure, remediation, or mining environmental program experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Valid driver’s license, willingness to conduct site visits as needed, and successful MVR required.
  • •Successful completion of client required drug screen may be required.
  • •Ability to travel up to 33% of the time.
  • •Experience leading mine closure programs with accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and financial performance (including regulatory engagement).
