Key Responsibilities

  • •Build production plan (shopload) for takted and unpaced areas and plan/coordinate work for multiple stakeholders.
  • •Perform close follow-ups with procurement, store, quality, methods, engineering, and on-site suppliers to respect the production plan.
  • •Define and execute lean, reliable material flows from dock to point of use in collaboration with Logistics-Supply.
  • •Define and implement inventory management to support overall working capital improvement strategy and align supply and demand.
  • •Define and document handling equipment and production kits, and participate in improvement projects (e.g., AOS/Achieving Excellence System, 5S, lean manufacturing).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in logistics or industrial engineering, operations and logistics management, or a college diploma with equivalent experience.
  • •2 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or production planning.
  • •Relevant experience in the automotive or aerospace industry (asset).
  • •Strong interest in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • •Comfortable using Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and Google Suite (Files, Docs, Slides); SAP experience is an asset.
