Job Summary

Support application engineering for large Europe projects from the Fisher Chennai Engineering Center. Review project specifications, clarify technical requirements, size and select control valves using FisherFirst software, and prepare technical/commercial quotes with deviations, reports, and drawings. Coordinate with sales and GIS/SPG teams, assist with customer revisions and change orders, troubleshoot site issues, and manage quote-to-commit and OE/factory clarifications while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Review project specifications and prepare deviations lists; clarify technical specifications via conference calls with Sales office/LBP.
•Size and select control valves using FisherFirst software; prepare technical and commercial quotes, deviations lists, and generate reports and drawings.
•Support project revisions from customers; provide technical support for OE/factory clarifications and assist with change orders.
•Support sales after PO issue by preparing transactions for order entry; commit to deadlines by analyzing RFQ scope and resource availability; handle quote-to-commit and customer TBE meetings.
•Act as key technical contact for LBP supported, mentor less experienced engineers, monitor RDSL/PDSL/RFT performance, and handle training programs and site issue troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 4 years of experience in control valves engineering.
•In-depth knowledge of control valve products and industry applications.
•Good understanding of product specifications and Incoterms.
•Knowledge of Fisher products and accessories is a plus.
•Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
