Key Responsibilities

  • •Respond to Call Before You Dig requests to perform quality mark-outs of gas main and service facilities.
  • •Review available maps and records to ensure accuracy of mark-out information.
  • •Conduct field visits to construction sites to ensure protection of gas distribution facilities.
  • •Report damage incidents, perform make-safe, and document facts associated with incidents and inspection issues.
  • •Operate electronic locating devices and a PC/laptop to obtain excavation location information; serve as an on-call inspector.

Salary: USD 44.27 - 48.11 hourly

  • •1-3 years of experience in marking out underground facilities.
  • •High School Diploma / GED.
  • •Knowledge of practices and procedures for operating department inspectors.
  • •Valid driver’s license.
