Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and maintain SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases hosted on cloud platforms with 24/7 production support.
  • •Perform database installations, patching, upgrades, and configure high-availability deployments (multi-AZ, read replicas).
  • •Tune SQL queries and stored procedures using partitioning, compression, and indexing strategies.
  • •Collaborate with developers to design optimized database schemas and support efficient query development.
  • •Analyze execution plans and implement query optimizations using performance monitoring and security/compliance frameworks.
