Job Summary

Independently support IRA/CD Operations by reconciling, researching, and clearing IRA/CD and other internal account entries while validating IRS and state documentation for accurate reporting. Process complex IRA distributions and risk-based transactions, research compliance and documentation exceptions (including IRS audit letters), and collaborate with Legal, Tax, and other business lines. Recommend and help implement process improvements, working within the bank’s risk appetite to deliver quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

•Support IRA/CD Operations by reconciling, researching, and clearing IRA/CD entries and other internal accounts.
•Review and validate required IRS and state documentation and coding for accurate IRS reporting (including W-8, NC-4P, W-4P).
•Process complex IRA distributions and risk-based transactions to maintain compliance with legal and IRS standards.
•Research and coordinate support for compliance and documentation exceptions, such as IRS audit letters.
•Collaborate with management and IT on process enhancements (including requirements, test plans, and testing).

Key Requirements

•3 years of related experience, preferably in Retail or Operations.
•Knowledge of retail policies, procedures, and products.
•Ability to resolve operational issues and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills and flexibility in scheduling.
